Guilty plea by Aboriginal accused to obstruct (false name to police], carry concealed weapon, possession of restricted weapon (bear spray), robbery, possession of stolen property – 55 prior convictions, some related – unstable and chaotic childhood, substance abuse in family – foster care – possible FAS – indication he was intimidated by co-accused – lack of FASD diagnosis means that he has not received appropriate treatment and management – 12 months jail less psc (Crown seeking 2.5 years, defence 9 mos).
