The FASD Justice Committee has developed this website with funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Department of Justice as a resource for justice system professionals and others who are grappling to understand FASD. We hope that this website will put case law, legal resources, background information, and practical tips close at hand. We also hope that it will offer strategies for dealing with the unique problems presented by offenders, victims and witnesses with FASD in compassionate, fair and effective ways.
Please note, this site is not interactive; we cannot respond to inquiries about individual cases or answer queries about content. Please check our links to locate other resources that provide that service.
The Case Law section of the site is updated at least annually with new relevant decisions that refer to FASD.
